Feel Better and Cut the Junk Initiative: A person may earn up to two gift cards for this initiative (maximum one per month).
1. Cut the Junk Give it Up! Go 45 days without junk food. Junk food is descrdibed as candy, pop, chips, crackers, processed snacks, donuts, most vending machine items, and drinks. To be honest, eveeryone knows if a food is considered junk food. You receive credit each day you avoid consuming junk food. When a total of 45 days is reached, return the log sheet and receive a gift card.
2. Cut the Junk at Work. If you have a problem with unhealthy snacks at work and don't want to cut them completely out of your diet, replace them. each day replace an unhealthy snack with a healthy alternative (water for pop, fruit for fruit pie, nuts for chips, jerky for candy bar etc.). When you have done this for 45 days, turn the form in and receive a gift card.
3. Cut the junk After 6 p.m. If you struggle with snacking in the evening, then work on not snacking after you get home. When you have been successful for 45 days, turn in the log sheet and receive a gift card.
