Cut the Junk: Need to feel better and not so lethargic during your quarantine time? Join the "Cut the Junk" Initiative. This initiative is for employees and spouses. The initiative has multiple options that allow a person to choose his/her desired health benefit. The program may be started anytime. You may take as long as needed to complete the program. When finished return the log sheet, regardless of the date, and receive a gift card.
A person may earn up to two gift cards for this initiative (maximum one per month). 1. "Cut the Junk" Give it Up! Go 45 days without junk food. Junk food is described as candy, pop, chips, crackers, processed snacks, donuts, certain vending machine items, and drinks. 2. "Cut the Junk" During the day. If you have a problem with unhealthy snacks during the dull drum times of working from home, or home schooling, and don't want to cut them completely out of your diet, replace them. Each day replace an unhealthy snack with a healthy alternative (water for pop, fruit for fruit pie, nuts for chips, jerky for candy bar, etc.) When you have done this for 45 days, turn the form in to Brian and receive a gift card. 3. "Cut the Junk" After 6 p.m. If you struggle with snacking in the evening, then work on not snacking after you get home. When you have been successful for 45 days, return the log sheet and receive a gift card.
